Synopsis
Gu Zhi'an is a thoroughly materialistic woman: proud and beautiful, she uses her exceptional looks to get close to the boss of the Fu family in the capital, becoming his mistress. Every day, she spends money like water, shopping to her heart's content.
The man is in his forties, mature, handsome, and steady, but he's a pervert who likes being taken from behind. He often holds her ankle and kisses it, kneeling on the floor like a dog as he murmurs hoarsely,
"Zhi'an... Please, please be good to me."
Gu Zhi'an only giggles and gives him a light kick in the chest.
But before she'd enjoyed many carefree years, he fell gravely ill and was close to death. As Gu Zhi'an looked at the man's frail face beside his hospital bed, she thought of the riches she was about to lose, her expression unreadable.
The man was on a ventilator and could barely speak, yet he murmured, "Zhi'an... Zhi'an, what will you do without me... Who'll earn money for you to spend...?"
Well, it certainly won't be you, you dead old man.
Gu Zhi'an curled her lips.
Boss Fu had a son who'd gone abroad to study. He came back for the funeral.
It was raining that day. Wearing a black dress, she looked down at the tombstone, her face wet with what might have been tears or rain. The young man, whose face resembled his father's, held an umbrella over her and wiped the rain from her face with his fingertips.
He said, "My father is dead. He entrusted you to me."
Then he lowered his head and took the tip of her ear into his mouth, his tongue gently licking it.
Yet his expression remained restrained, proper, and detached.
Well, after the dead old man, here comes a dead young one.
Gu Zhi'an lazily raised her eyes. At her husband's funeral, she gave her stepson a seductive smile, her breath fragrant, her fingers winding across his chest.
A stepmother and stepson who disregarded all propriety were already leaning on each other and flirting at the funeral.
As it turned out, both father and son were absolutely shameless. They acted respectable in public, but in private they liked being her dogs. They also liked holding her ankle and kissing it with soft, breathy sighs, murmuring their love and affection.
But this young one was different.
He would ask, "Do you still love my father?"
"Do you like me more?"
"How do I compare to him?"
Gu Zhi'an would just kick him irritably.
Who ever loved that dead old man? The only thing I love in this life is money. I love anyone who spends it on me.
That's what she thought, her expression languid.
1. The heroine is in love with money, which comes first, the dead man second, and the young man third.
2. The stepson will never beat his dead father's status as her beloved. Every day, he's jealous of her old man and tries even harder to be Mommy's puppy, hoping to surpass his father.
3. She dates the older man in the first part and the stepson later on. Both relationships are GB. They're very virtuous men who know how to serve the heroine. Let's hear it for male virtue!
4. The woman isn't a virgin, but the men are. The male lead was conceived through IVF, so his father is pure! The son is pure, too! What a virtuous father and son! Once again, let's hear it for male virtue!
5. The dead father isn't old. He's a charming man in his forties, worried about his looks and working out and taking care of himself like crazy every day. The older man is much hotter than his son. Once again, let's hear it for male virtue!
6. A late-night idea. The heroine's love is simply low-quality, just like the title. Don't scold my heroine.
7. Written in a manic style. My writing is actually pretty wild, jumpy, and unhinged. I just wanted to write a sick, twisted romance, something like Tame Flames, or even crazier than that (scratches head).
