After Falling Under a Love Curse with My Aloof Senior Brother

.

Chi Hejian was apprenticed to the master of Kongshan Realm from childhood and had several senior martial siblings.

Her eldest senior brother, Zhai Shimo, was the youngest Sword Venerable in Kongshan Realm. He was a man of luminous virtue who made saving all living beings his duty, and was revered throughout the sect.

Chi Hejian loved her eldest senior brother most of all.

But after she returned from her journey down the mountain, things began to feel a little off.

Whenever her eldest senior brother's placid gaze fell on her, Chi Hejian felt strangely unable to breathe. Her legs even went weak.

Perhaps this was what it felt like to fall in love for the first time.

She didn't think much of it and continued chasing after her eldest senior brother.

It wasn't until her senior sister brought up her journey down the mountain that Chi Hejian learned the truth:

She had once been poisoned with a Gu venom by a demonic cultivator and, out of her mind, had attacked her fellow disciples. Her eldest senior brother had cured her of the Gu and brought her back.

Chi Hejian froze, vaguely recalling a familiar figure and an itching pain that had sunk into her bones. As for anything else, she couldn't remember at all.

She moved into the library and searched every forbidden book until she finally found an entry about the Gu venom.

The Gu was called Naihe. Put simply, it was a love Gu.

Chi Hejian was dumbfounded.

That very night, she dreamed. The heat was scorching, and she wept uncontrollably.

Chi Hejian awoke in the middle of the night, gasping for breath like someone who had just surfaced from underwater. She suddenly realized her eldest senior brother was leaning outside the bed curtains in her room.

He stood as straight as a cold pine, his voice cool and hoarse as it broke the silence.

"Little Junior Sister, you've remembered."
