Emotional Dependency [Entertainment Industry]

A transitional object is a child's first possession that is "not me." It isn't given to them by their mother. It is something they discover or create for themselves.

This special possession is very important to a child. It can help ease separation anxiety, ward off loneliness, soothe unease, and help the child fall asleep peacefully.

For Jian Qiao, Sheng Yu'an is his transitional object.

But becoming too dependent is no long-term solution.

[Initially a flirtatious, straight man, later a devoted puppy-like top x cool-headed, rational bottom who never beats around the bush]

○ Same-sex marriage is legal in this setting. No characters are based on real people.

○ This couple appeared in a bonus story for My CP Is One Wedding Away from Getting Married. This novel is an expansion of their story.

○ Sheng Yu'an is a major flirt and a straight man at first, but he never has intimate contact with other women. They hold hands and hug, but never kiss!

○ Jian Qiao has a secret crush at first. Later, Sheng Yu'an goes through hell trying to win him back.

○ This author loves melodrama. In my view, "going through hell to win back your partner" means the bottom suffers in the first half and the top suffers in the second half. It only counts as a happy ending if the author suffers the whole time too.

○ So this novel may be extremely, extremely, extremely painful. It is not a sweet romance, not a sweet romance, not a sweet romance. It's melodrama!

○ No changing tops, no changing tops, no changing tops. One-on-one, happy ending.

○ If you curse out Sheng Yu'an, you can't curse me too, okay? [Please, I'm begging you]

[The title is tentative. I'll change it if I think of something better.]
