I Only Wanted to Be a Couch Potato, but My Persona Fell Apart

Ruan Ci wakes up one day to discover that she's a minor background character in a cultivation world. As a child, she witnessed her parents being killed by villains. She narrowly escaped, but ever since, she's lived in constant terror, never knowing when she might suddenly kick the bucket. Too timid to go a day without worrying, she decides to steer clear of all danger to stay alive. She'll eat and drink to her heart's content, skip cultivation, and happily laze around! No, no, no, I'm not going to the secret realm. There are monsters and poisonous bugs! If I can't get away, I'll die! No, no, no, I don't want a divine weapon. I can't control it, and possessing a treasure will make me a target. I'll die! No, no, no, I'm not going to duel. Others are Golden Core cultivators, and I'm only at Foundation Establishment. I'll die if I can't beat them! And yet... she clears the secret realm, the divine weapon chooses her as its master, and she wins the duel. I have a cheat! I must have a cheat! Wait, where would a background character get a cheat? After going through it all, Ruan Ci finally realizes: it turns out the biggest cheat of all is... me?
