The next day, Mu Shuxue sees Bo Xin standing before her with a split lip. She draws in a sharp breath, feeling as guilty as a thief caught in the act.

After that, Mu Shuxue deliberately avoids Bo Xin whenever she can. She even chooses a university in another province on her application, then flees to study far away.

She doesn't return to the Bo family home until winter break after her first semester of college.

She quietly lifts the covers to take a look, then sucks in a sharp breath and instinctively tries to run. Just as she picks up her clothes from the floor, Ning Qianxuan's low voice comes from behind her:
