[Resilient refugee girl VS taciturn, aloof executive] | Love-hate relationship | Two strong leads | Supernatural powers

After living in a refugee zone for over a decade, Sang Ying had only one wish: to live a peaceful life with her mother.

Until one day, she was selected by people from the base to go collect samples in the extremely dangerous wasteland forest.

In the dangerous wasteland forest, mutated plants launched a surprise attack and the group scattered in a panicked escape. Sang Ying took the opportunity to climb a tree.

Some people were devoured by mutated plants, while others were pierced through by thorny vines and died.

And then there was Zhu Lanxing, an executive from the base. After her body was torn in half, it regenerated at incredible speed, restoring her completely in the blink of an eye.

Sang Ying: ?? Is she even human?!!

While fleeing, Sang Ying was caught by the woman with the rapid-regeneration ability. A cold gun barrel pressed against her forehead. “Now that you know my secret, do you still expect to leave alive?”

“Of course.” The moment Sang Ying finished speaking, a green vine shot from behind and pierced straight through Zhu Lanxing's body.

“I'll leave alive. Whether you do is another matter.”

--

Once again, they found themselves in danger. Sang Ying was about to fall off a cliff when Zhu Lanxing grabbed her hand tightly.

Falling rocks struck Zhu Lanxing in the back, and she spat up blood.

Sang Ying said, “Let go.”

Zhu Lanxing: “Never!”

--

At first, each of them wanted the other to die as soon as possible.

Later, they both prayed that the other would survive.

[Even as my flesh rots, I hope you bloom among my decaying bones.]

4. Jobs referred to by general terms, and unnamed characters, are assumed to be women.

Upcoming novel, The Mermaid on the Stranded Shore

[Island beauty VS beautiful mermaid]

After her grandmother died, Shen Zhiqing returned to the island where she had grown up to take care of the funeral arrangements.

After the funeral, she went for a walk by the sea alone and found someone collapsed on a secluded stretch of shore. She hurried over to check on them, only to discover that once the waves receded, the person had a beautiful deep-blue fish tail. Before long, it turned into a pair of legs.

Shen Zhiqing: ?

Fairy tales are real. Mermaids really exist in this world!

The mermaid was injured, and Shen Zhiqing took pity on her and brought her back to her home by the sea.

The mermaid couldn't speak. She was always looking at Shen Zhiqing with those jewel-like blue eyes, following her wherever she went.

To make it easier to address her, Shen Zhiqing gave her a name: Juexia.

Most of the time, Juexia was well-behaved. She learned to speak, cook, and do housework. She was just exceptionally clingy, insisting on sleeping with Shen Zhiqing too.

Before she knew it, Shen Zhiqing had fallen in love with the beautiful mermaid.

Not long after, Juexia began acting strangely, often avoiding Shen Zhiqing to go into the sea.

Thinking she wanted to leave, Shen Zhiqing begged her to stay through tears.

Juexia hurriedly explained: “I'm not leaving. It's just... my mating season has started.”

Shen Zhiqing hadn't even wiped away her tears yet. “Huh?”

Some time later, Shen Zhiqing started feeling nauseous from time to time. Juexia said, “You might be pregnant.”

Shen Zhiqing: “Huh??”

Don't we have reproductive incompatibility?!

Reader's Guide:

1. Shen Zhiqing (the pursued), Juexia (the pursuer), 1v1, both leads are each other's only partners, sweet romance.
