Apparently, I'm an amateur novelist who opened a coffee shop to observe humanity. Not long ago, I stole a certain detective's mixed-race girlfriend, then got into a car accident while trying to catch her cheating. Now I'm in the middle of a spectacular bout of amnesia.
Apparently, I once loved a bomb disposal officer with half-long hair, but couldn't have him. Not only did I break up his relationship, I also used his curly-haired childhood friend as a substitute, then took revenge on him before bringing the two of them back together.
Apparently, I have a domineering boyfriend who never shows his face. He has blue, upturned cat eyes and is a fantastic bass player. Unfortunately, he's a dangerous criminal who seduced me and refuses to take responsibility, so in a fit of anger, I cheated on him with a handsome blond guy with dark skin.
Apparently, my blond, dark-skinned lover is such a flirt that he attracted a silver-haired, aloof hunk who came to catch us in the act. But the moment he saw me, he fell in love at first sight and confessed on the spot.
Apparently, every place I go sees some outrageous case, and everyone I know winds up questioning their whole life. And yet I stay behind the scenes, raising a glass to fate with a mocking smile.
Apparently...
What a joke! If I had that kind of brain, would I really be getting laughed at by an elementary-school detective every day?
Rumors! It's all rumors!
I really have lost my memory. As I stare at the coffee shop's sign, barely hanging on outside the door, I fall into thought.
The Poirot Cafe seems like it should be worth a little something, but why do I feel like something's off?
To get to the bottom of things, I decide to hire a capable employee to watch the shop while I leave to find my lost memories.
But I never expected that the dangerous cat-eyed boyfriend from the rumors would show up to apply for the job with the blond, dark-skinned man I'd supposedly cheated with.
Please note:
1. The pairing is Morofushi Hiromitsu. Everything else is just a rumor.
2. The story saves the Police Academy group. The protagonist is on the good guys' side, but plays both sides.
3. Out-of-character behavior is ever-present. Giving the characters a hard time is the best kind of fun.
4. Hope everyone enjoys the story! If it's not for you, feel free to leave without telling me. Thanks.
