To investigate the cause of his grandfather's death, Gu Tu graduated from a prestigious university and became an inconspicuous crime analyst at the police station.
He had planned to slack off while figuring out how to use his supernatural ability, but then he caught the attention of the “Living Yama,” who had just been parachuted into the Special Crime Investigation Unit.
Captain Wen Yu was handsome and stylish, and always wore a cold expression. He even specifically asked Gu Tu to accompany him to crime scenes.
The whole precinct began lighting candles for poor Gu Tu, but his eyes lit up instead. It turned out that after touching Wen Yu, he could hear the “inner voices” of mutated objects.
Grandpa, rest in peace. I’ve finally figured out how to use my ability!
At a murder scene, everyone at the station furrowed their brows in concentration, while Gu Tu began his performance:
Captain Wen examined the bloodstains.
Gu Tu “accidentally” stumbled, and his fingers “frantically” grabbed Wen Yu’s wrist for support.
The skin on the inside of Wen Yu’s wrist was soft and warm, completely unlike his cold, hard exterior. Without thinking, Gu Tu gave it a couple more rubs.
Captain Wen analyzed the footprints.
Gu Tu “happened” to pass by, his shoulder “inadvertently” brushing Wen Yu’s lower back.
Even the cold, hard straight man had a perfectly straight waistline. The more Gu Tu thought about it, the more indignant he felt, and in a burst of excitement, he pinched Wen Yu’s waist.
Captain Wen pondered in silence.
Gu Tu “helpfully” handed him the evidence, his fingertips “accidentally” brushing across Wen Yu’s palm.
Those hook-like fingertips made his heart itch. Wen Yu grabbed Gu Tu’s hand with a cold expression, and Gu Tu lost his footing, crashing headfirst into his superior’s springy, muscular chest.
Everyone: “Yikes! He must have one hell of a psychological scar! Gu Tu is sacrificing so much for this case!”
Only Gu Tu knew that every time he touched Wen Yu, the objects at the scene started talking in his mind:
The bloodstained fountain pen: “The killer’s handwriting is so ugly! There’s even dog hair stuck to his cuff!”
The painting on the wall: “He stared at me for three seconds before pushing someone! Does he look down on my artistic value?!”
The silent trash can: “Tsk, eating lemon candy while murdering someone. What a freak.”
Thanks to his talent for “staging accidental encounters,” Gu Tu solved one strange case after another and became a legend in the precinct.
At the celebration banquet, he was savoring his own brilliant performance.
His wrist was suddenly seized, and he was pulled into a dimly lit stairwell.
Wen Yu pinned him against the wall.
His breath burned by Gu Tu’s ear, while the phone screen shone with a glaring light.
On the screen was a nine-panel collage of Gu Tu “cleverly” touching various parts of Wen Yu.
High-resolution, with burst shots.
“Care to explain?”
Wen Yu’s voice was low and unhurried.
Like an icy blade, it slowly scraped across Gu Tu’s skin.
“You’ve been plotting to touch me for so long...”
“Gu Tu, are you solving cases,” he paused, moving closer, “or deliberately trying to seduce me?”
Gu Tu: “!!!”
H-help! Evidence! Say something, quick!
