Has Consort Nian Fallen from Favor Today? (Transmigrated to the Qing Dynasty)

Nian Xiyue, an orthopedic surgeon, inexplicably transmigrates to the Qing dynasty.

Her original body was an arrogant and domineering young woman, doted on by her entire family.

To avoid the imperial selection, Nian Xiyue pretends to be ill and successfully gets rejected.

Disguised as a man, she serves as a military doctor in the army.

One day, her second brother, Nian Gengyao, brings back a handsome young man covered in blood from the chaotic battlefield.

After ordering her to take good care of him,

her brother returns to the battlefield to fight.

Blinded by the man's good looks, Nian Xiyue starts coveting him.

She figures that since she'll have to accept an arranged marriage anyway, she might as well pick a man she likes the look of.

So she decides to get the handsome young man into bed and make the marriage a fait accompli.

Relying on her second brother Nian Gengyao's influence in the army, she gently persuades the handsome young man to become a live-in son-in-law.

Once everything falls into place, Nian Xiyue is full of confidence.

She brings the man before her brother, Nian Gengyao.

She is about to announce that she has found herself a fine live-in son-in-law,

when her second brother, a powerful court official, suddenly kneels at the man's feet.

It turns out the sickly young man is none other than Yin Zhen, Prince Yong, infamous throughout the land.

This is an alternate-history Qing dynasty. Read with caution if that's not your thing.
