The Palace Maid in Charge of the Cold Palace

Hua Jin became a low-ranking palace maid in the Cold Palace, tasked with caring for disgraced consorts.

No matter whether you were an empress or a favored consort, once you entered the Cold Palace, you were a prisoner, enduring endless torment and contempt.

Every day, the moment she opened her eyes, she had to tend to mad consorts and foolish empresses. In her spare moments, she also had to bury disgraced consorts who had thrown themselves into wells or hanged themselves.

Until one day, Consort Zhen, the most favored woman in the harem, moved into a dilapidated palace on the western side of the Cold Palace with the mute Sixth Prince.
