Empress Lü (Transmigrated to the Han Dynasty)

Lu Zhi is transmigrated into the body of a prisoner.

Her husband, Liu Bang, rebels and abandons her, then disappears without a trace.

She becomes a prisoner of Chu, enduring hardship after hardship.

With blood and hatred, she rebuilds herself.

Cornered and betrayed, she grits her teeth and fights her way out.

Meanwhile, her husband has countless new and old lovers at his side.

He repeatedly kicks her children off his carriage, treating them as burdens.

Even her sworn enemy, the Hegemon-King of Western Chu, Xiang Yu, can't bear to see how terribly she's treated.

He sends her back to her husband, ending her three years as a prisoner.

A new life in captivity begins...

The realm is finally at peace, but her husband is swayed by Lady Qi into deposing the Crown Prince.

He even plans to send her only daughter away for a political marriage.

At last, the wicked phoenix is forced to grow dragon scales and a rebellious spine...

She and he were once husband and wife, joined by the same hairpin. She was once a good person, a gentle and kind woman.

In the end, she becomes his empress.

Liu Bang once considered deposing the Crown Prince, but never once thought of deposing the empress.

Even after he is reborn, he constantly wants to kill Empress Lu Zhi.

In his heart, she was once as tender as flowing water.

But his empress is now as cold and cutting as ice water.

Yet when she cries, no words are needed.

He has so little backbone that he gives her half the authority to rule the realm.

When she cries again, he sits bolt upright from his deathbed, heartbroken,

then barks orders and musters the troops.

Knowing full well that her feelings are feigned, he still willingly leads an expedition himself for her and their children...
