Arrogant, self-obsessed young master gong X a slow-witted, adorably oblivious beauty shou (because he has no sense of pain at first)
(Old-school, melodramatic love-triangle showdown)

After joining a sect, Fu Susu leads a simple life of eating, sleeping, and cultivating. Then one day, while washing his little rice bowl by the river, his senior brother, the pride of the sect, crouches beside him and murmurs, "You really are beautiful." He slips him a fresh, juicy peach, then walks away as if nothing happened. From then on, every time Fu Susu washes his bowl, his senior brother gives him a peach.
Fu Susu's life becomes a routine of eating, eating peaches, sleeping, and cultivating. After a month of peaches, his senior brother sends a message inviting him to meet in the secluded valley. Fu Susu races there with a huge bamboo basket on his back, only to discover that his senior brother lied: there aren't any peach trees in the valley. The next day, his senior brother's dao companion, Yi Feishi, tearfully tells him, "I never thought Junior Brother Susu would do something like this..."
Fu Susu: "? What did I do??"
The furious disciples of the sect torture Fu Susu, dig out his spiritual heart, and expel him from the inner sect. With nowhere left for him in the sect, he drags his grievously injured body onward, escaping to the Third Shoal through sheer hatred and willpower before his memories fade.

Five hundred years ago, Fei Xi and his annoying younger brother had a fight and went their separate ways. The severely injured Fei Xi was taken to the heavens by the Divine Emperor, who recognized his divine bloodline. Five hundred years later, with nothing better to do, Fei Xi decides to descend to the mortal realm and look for that unlucky little brother.
Hearing that his younger brother had been to the Third Shoal, Fei Xi follows him there and looks around. At a glance, he spots a beautiful young man, Fu Susu, picking up and eating vegetable leaves. Fei Xi opens his folding fan and waves it as he thinks: I'm gorgeous, so if someone this beautiful isn't my little brother, whose brother could he be? Besides, he doesn't look too bright, just like that annoying brat in my memories! (His actual little brother: Oh, get lost...)
Fei Xi walks up and kicks Fu Susu in the rear. Fu Susu drops to his knees with a thud and spits up blood, but acts as though nothing happened, wipes his mouth, and keeps picking up vegetable leaves to eat. Fei Xi remains silent for a long while, but when those beautiful eyes belatedly turn to look at him, he thinks: ...I'll take him home first and figure things out later.
Fu Susu understands what people say and knows to run home when it rains, but he's inexplicably slow and off somehow. He dashes into a cave full of thorns to pick fruit, then comes out covered in bloody scratches. That's when Fei Xi realizes the guy can't feel pain. He checks for dragon scales and finds none, then checks for dragon bones and finds none. Oh, so he's not my little brother after all. Fei Xi, who had already suspected as much, kisses him without hesitation.
While Fu Susu is asleep, Fei Xi reaches into his chest and finds a hole. No wonder he's so dimwitted: someone dug out his spiritual heart.
Fu Susu wakes up, washes his hands, and runs outside to ask Fei Xi to make him food. Seeing Fei Xi sharpening his sword, he says, "Come on. We're going to get your spiritual heart back."
Content warnings
1. At first, the shou has no "spiritual heart" and is rather slow-witted. (But don't worry, I definitely intend to make him cute, not write him as an idiot. He absolutely won't trigger anyone's hatred of stupid characters.)
2. Haven't thought of anything else yet.
(The blurb is still being revised and polished.)
