A Wandering Swordsman in the Qin State

Baili Chaoran transmigrates. He wakes up as a former Qin noble, demoted to commoner status, who went off to become a wandering knight after being consumed by resentment. From the start, he’s in hell mode. Not only does Baili Chaoran have to recover from his injuries, he also has to figure out how to survive in the Qin state, where the laws are harsh. He’s going to become an all-around wandering knight! In the Qin state, he starts making bricks by hand and building houses, clearing land and planting rice, and learning medicine, pharmacology, acupuncture, carpentry, pottery, and blacksmithing... Along the way, he meets a kindred spirit and dear friend, broad-shouldered and slim-waisted, standing eight feet six inches tall, who always supports his various wild ideas. This story is set in a parallel version of the Qin state, with a highly fictionalized setting. The System won’t take up much of the story, and Qin Shi Huang won’t appear until the middle. The pace is on the slower side, with a little ensemble cast and plenty of farming and development in daily life. 2. The characters are original, and the male and female leads are written to grow over time, with flaws of their own early on. For the sake of the plot, historical figures in this story have many fictional traits, and some events have been moved earlier. Please don’t treat them as real historical figures (thank you!). 3. My writing skills are limited, so I haven’t been especially meticulous about forms of address or word choice.
