The Seventh Anomaly Investigation Unit

An Mi was an orphan in her previous life. After she transmigrated, she was adopted by a branch of the Gray Harbor Anomaly Investigation Bureau, where she finally had a family of her own.

But on the day of her official examination to become an anomaly investigator, the entire Gray Harbor Bureau was sacrificed by a secret cult. Following her adoptive father's guidance, she hid in the containment room of a calamity-class artifact, becoming the only survivor there. She was forced to establish a connection with the ancient being contained inside.

To uncover the truth behind Gray Harbor's destruction and carry on her family's legacy of protecting the world, An Mi joins headquarters alongside the ancient being, who disguises itself as a fellow investigator. Gradually, she finds teammates she can trust with her back, along with more friends and family.

A sleeping city, profaned gods, savage ancient beasts, a mysterious City of Gold, year-round blizzards, a lost ancient civilization...

One secret after another awaits her on her adventures, until she finds her true self and uncovers the greatest truth of this world...

Reader's guide:

1. The heroine is loyal and devoted, but exceptionally clever and rational. She is unquestionably the heart of the story.

2. A light ensemble cast. Every member of the main group has their own growth and romance arcs.

3. Multiple couples. Everyone is a devoted romantic, and the relationships have no angst or melodrama.

4. The goal is to tell a story that celebrates humanity, with hope and redemption even against a Lovecraftian backdrop.

Theme: Humanity's anthem is an anthem of love and courage.
