[Work-in-Progress Blurb]
Mojie, the child of the supernatural, was born with his parents forcing him into a human shell they'd fashioned for him. He was like a sardine wearing clothes that didn't fit, crammed into a can that was too small.
As Mojie grew up, this handmade human shell gradually fused with his soul, until he was neither human nor supernatural. He could only eat human food, but the traits of a supernatural child would contaminate anything he ate until it was inedible. Only milk could solve the problem. So this "sardine" could only drink milk if he wanted to fill his stomach.
He lived for more than twenty years, drinking milk for more than twenty years. Milk for all three meals, every single day.
One day, while clearing out intruders, Mojie suddenly grew overwhelmed with sorrow as he killed them. He couldn't understand his perpetually hungry stomach, his tedious life, or this group of intruders who had suddenly appeared. After dealing with them, he cried himself to sleep. Filled with resentment, he swore as he closed his eyes that he would never drink milk again! If he did, he would die!
Then, for some inexplicable reason, he died in his dream.
When he opened his eyes again, Mojie's world was pitch-black. He lay buried in the earth, locked underground in a coffin, with a constant clanging in his head.
[You have been bound to the Survival System. Survive on this continent!]
[Nightfall! Nightfall! Be alert! Be alert!]
[Helpful reminder: You are hungry.]
[Helpful reminder: You feel like you're about to starve to death.]
Before Mojie could even crawl out of the coffin, his vision went black. Did he have to drink milk again?!
With that thought in mind, Mojie cried as he dug himself out of his grave. As soon as he crawled above ground, he looked around and saw nothing but a vast ocean in every direction, save for the tiny patch of sandy earth beneath his feet.
He froze, then let out a hiccuping sob.
His first thought was: Where was his milk?
His second thought was: He was going to starve to death.
And so Mojie was abducted to a godforsaken place. Through his own efforts, he survived hurricane season, thunderstorm season, the rainy season, the dry season... Wherever he went, he dug. Graves, monster lairs, underground caves, he dug them all, crying wherever he went. Everywhere he passed was left as though a gale had swept through: not a blade of grass remained, and even the ground itself might be torn up!
At long last, after conquering both the seas and the land of this continent, Mojie stood atop its highest mountain and planted a flag that read [I Was Here]. He looked up, satisfied, only to see someone suddenly appear across from him, staring at him with a deathly pale face.
Then they shouted behind them, "Lock everything down! The exiled prisoner has escaped!"
Mojie hadn't transmigrated to a primitive, uncivilized world.
He was still in the same 21st century as before. Someone had simply dug up his coffin and dumped it in this desolate place.
When Mojie first learned the truth, he was furious.
Then the people across from him called a whole crowd to attack him, and he got even angrier.
So he fought while crying. A huge crowd came to take him down in a grand show of force, then were carried back in a ragged stream. In the end, they even created a file for him:
[Supernatural] [The Man Who Adds Milk to Everything]
[Record: Origin unknown. We do not know where he came from. We only know that by the time he appeared, he had already tamed the Ember. Fearless in temperament and prone to crying, he adds milk to all his food...]
[Can he help build a new world?]
[Reader's Guide]
★ Mostly adventures, survival, construction, and a few supernatural tales. The overall tone is lighthearted.
★ The protagonist likes fighting monsters while crying. He's a cool, handsome hunk, the complete package, a tiny bit of a savior, a total show-off, and a heartthrob (as long as you ignore his grimy survival and construction work).
Theme: Only when we love this world are we truly living in it.
