What does it mean to keep running into your nemesis? Xu Yike considers herself something of an authority on the subject.

During her senior-year internship, she rented a one-bedroom apartment off campus. But on the very first day after moving in, she came face-to-face with He Yuzhou as he stepped out of the apartment opposite hers.

He Yuzhou: “What a coincidence.”

Xu Yike: “...” Why is it you again?!

They had lived across the hall from each other since childhood and grown up together. Two years older than Xu Yike, He Yuzhou always acted like he could boss her around in every way. He knew everything about her and loved teasing her until she blew her top.

It wasn't until they both left home for college that Xu Yike finally got away from her sharp-tongued honorary big brother and enjoyed a few years of freedom, far from his watchful eye.

But she never expected her “carefree” days to end abruptly during graduation season.

As they spent day after day together, unable to avoid seeing each other, Xu Yike made an unexpected discovery: He Yuzhou seemed to have secretly fallen for someone behind her back.

And that someone might just be her.
