[This work could also be called The Dinosaur Taming Handbook or Guide to Surviving the Mesozoic.]
Close your eyes, open them, and somehow you've arrived in the age of dinosaurs?
But this doesn't seem to be the normal dinosaur era: time is out of joint, disasters keep striking, and there are even humans carrying modern technology?
Chen Yuzhu, a new graduate student who had come out to dig for fossils with her advisor, was utterly stunned. Stranger still, she'd awakened a special ability that increased others' favorability toward her, but it seemed...to work on dinosaurs?
To save dinosaurs from a group of poachers, Chen Yuzhu is forced into an adventure alongside them. But it seems there's also a human with a strange identity traveling with her...
And when the human who can influence space and time appears, the clues point to an even greater conspiracy.
The Morrison Formation, Shishugou Formation, Jehol Biota, Wuerho, Hell Creek... After a separation spanning hundreds of millions of years, the stories preserved in fossils are being revealed anew, and a grand panorama of evolution is unfolding.
This is the Mesozoic. This is the age of dinosaurs!
1. The heroine can raise dinosaurs' favorability by feeding them. Dinosaurs with maxed-out favorability become pets and can communicate with her. She can also equip dinosaurs with modern gear, and even turn large dinosaurs into mobile bases.
2. The dinosaurs' appearances will follow real-world chronology as closely as possible, divided into the four great dinosaur dynasties. The heroine's abilities will continue to grow stronger over time.
3. The story uses the most up-to-date research available. Body-size figures are also the more modest estimates from recent studies, to avoid making the dinosaurs seem absurdly oversized. Some dinosaur estimates fluctuate year after year, so a general range will be used.
4. The author's notes at the end of each chapter will include some fun dinosaur facts, such as taxonomy and little stories about fossil excavation. If you're interested, be sure to read them. Questions and corrections are welcome in the comments.
5. The author is just a paleontology enthusiast. If anything is wrong, please point it out.
Theme: Witness the rise, fall, and destruction of the dinosaur dynasties
! This is not the setting of Nobita and Dinosaurs
Hhhhh This setting is like the "Doraemon: Nobita and the Dinosaurs" I watched when I was a kid! Similar to Momotaro's meatballs! Dinosaurs will be domesticated if they eat them
Lily with this theme is so rare, it feels like I dreamed of going back to primary and secondary schools to read popular science comics 🐶
Wait, a purely wild carnivorous dragon? Are there any that are not wild? O. O
Is it similar to us listening to people from the Qing Dynasty talking 🍉
The first time I saw a fossil that was full of dodges [scared]
Before going to college, I felt that Chen Yuzhu's brain was very useful. After going to college, I felt that it was even better. I felt that I was on the school debate team in college.
Are you saying that the hands of this oxenosaur are so big ->. And when courting, can it dance??
It's a pity that jj can't post pictures, otherwise we can more intuitively see what different types of dragons look like [Hold your chin]
Shi Kuang: Not sister? What did you say?
