The Crown Prince's Grandson Doesn't Want the Empire to Fall

Unorthodox, scheming Crown Prince's grandson top & gorgeous master of deception, fake Taoist bottom

Synopsis:

On the day he enters the palace, Daoist Jiang wears an old robe washed until it has faded white. With his ethereally handsome, cool features and his superb medical skills, which bring the Third Prince back from the dead, he seems like an otherworldly immortal who has left all worldly concerns behind.

No one expects this "immortal" to smash the alchemy furnace of the Celestial Master next door the very next day.

After that, he gets even more brazen, taking control of the Imperial Medical Bureau and emptying the emperor's collection of pills...

In the end, he even climbs into the Crown Prince's grandson's bed.

Yan Yinzhi hates Taoists more than anything, but Daoist Jiang is just too handsome.

At first, they both know they're only using each other, with a little lust at first sight thrown in.

After spending their days and nights together, learning each other inside out and facing life and death side by side, they eventually develop a rare, genuine affection.

Later, the frontier is in danger. Yan Yinzhi has finally purged the court and taken control of the government, but he has no choice but to personally lead his army north.

Through bitter battles and countless hardships, the only thing keeping him going is the thought of returning soon to reunite with the one he loves.

But on the eve of his victory, he receives a secret letter claiming that the capital has descended into chaos and that a demon Taoist has seized the palace and intends to rebel...

The letter is from the demon Taoist himself, the very man planning the rebellion.
