Yi Tang is a lie-flat kind of person.
She has a main job as an office clerk earning 6,000 yuan a month and a side gig as a sleep-aid streamer bringing in 600 yuan a month. She's never dreamed of becoming rich or powerful, and even in her dreams, she only dares to hope she'll win first prize at the company party.
The office is gripped by panic. Rumor has it the incoming CEO is young and handsome, but has a patience of only three seconds.
To give the parachuted-in new boss a hard time, the company assigns Yi Tang as his temporary assistant. She knows nothing about everything, and her greatest value is keeping an eye on the water cooler.
That day, Yi Tang gained a new CEO, a neighbor with insomnia, and a generous top supporter.
It took her a long, long time to realize that all three were the same person.

Duan Li is a domineering CEO.
Domineering CEOs usually don't need sleep, but Duan Li does. If he stays awake forever, someone will die. It might be him, or it might be one of his subordinates.
On his first day in this seaside city, the algorithm recommended a sleep-aid streamer to him. She showed no face and used no voice, but her technique was professional. Her audience, however, numbered in the single digits.
Looking at the sign saying her stream would end at one in the morning, and feeling a hint of sleepiness for the first time in ages, President Duan pondered for a few seconds and dropped a 100,000-yuan yacht gift: Stream until three.
Yi Tang, who wasn't signed with an agency and didn't have to give them a cut: !
The next day, President Duan showed up at work refreshed and full of energy, only to notice that the assistant temporarily assigned to him had developed two enormous dark circles under her eyes.
The heroine's nickname is Pingping. She came up with it herself because together with her surname, it sounds like "Yi Tangping," or "lie flat."
Dazed and sleepy lie-flat girl vs. a jerk who's good at letting go. SC, HE, secret-identity reveal.
Little scene:
One day, Yi Tang, fed up with the rat race, kicked open the CEO's office door and slapped her resignation letter down on the desk.
Yi Tang: "I'm done."
The man behind the desk: "Who gave you the courage?"
Yi Tang: "My top supporter, who drops ten thousand on me every day."
Top supporter Duan, who tips her over ten thousand every night, stared at her account in silence and thought it over.
Reader's guide:
1. The heroine hates going to work and won't transform into a career-driven powerhouse. If that's not your thing, read with caution.
2. The heroine's dislike of work doesn't mean she has no good qualities. What's wrong with modern people not wanting to work?
3. A light, sweet slice-of-life romance. If it's not sweet, you can give the author two solid punches (but there will be some angst and push-and-pull, and the will-they-won't-they stage will be long).
4. A writing exercise, and quite different from my previous style.
