Why Haven't You Grown Up Yet?

My next book. Raising a child and watching them grow.

Professor Yan found a little starbeast with pointy ears and a pair of violet eyes. On camera, it lay in his arms, its tiny nostrils fluttering as it eagerly sniffed Yan Huai's scent.

The people of the all-beast, ultra-A08 interstellar world were astonished by the adorable creature:

W-what is this cutie?!

Help, can something this cute really exist?!

I'm telling you, I could pet it to death in a day!

Yan Huai's research institute takes in every unusual starbeast in the ultra-A08 interstellar world, studying their genes and development.

Everyone across the stars knows Professor Yan is exceptionally stern. While everyone else gets nosebleeds over the cute beasts, he remains expressionless and cold as ice. Melting Professor Yan's heart? Not a chance...

Until, day after day, viewers notice the buttons on the reserved professor's shirt getting lower and lower, while the little starbeast sleeps draped around his neck.

The comments flood with praise for Professor Yan's elegant collarbones. The little starbeast glances over with its cool violet eyes, and the very next second, Professor Yan's shirt is buttoned right up to the top.

It's not that Yan Huai hasn't been observing it.

This little starbeast is a green tea every day of the week.

In front of Yan Huai, it gazes up at him, hands clasped, eyes blinking: Could you tell me again the story about how you chose me out of a thousand ugly monsters?

Behind Yan Huai's back, it stomps on Pixiu and punches Yinglong, then sneers fiercely: Hmph. Tell me, are you still going to lay a hand on Yan Huai and ask him to hold you while you sleep?

Little Pixiu and little Yinglong: !! QAQ We won't dare, we won't dare...

It's not that Yan Huai doesn't have his troubles, either.

His lab has limited space. Once the little starbeasts have matured and their forms stabilized, he lets them go free.

But this one, shamelessly lounging in his arms...

The man sighed almost inaudibly. Why haven't you grown up yet?

Until one day,

the violet-eyed beast lazily lowered its gaze, its pointed tail effortlessly wrapping around Yan Zhun's side.

Yan Huai's eyes were flushed, and his lips, never before touched by anyone, were clenched tight with barely contained desire.

"Teacher," he murmured, his voice hoarse. Leaning close to his ear, he asked casually, "Am I grown up enough now?"

An extremely possessive, jealous, green tea gong X a reserved, aloof professor

Raising the child and watching them grow in the early chapters, with plenty of fluffy creatures. Later, once the gong regains his original form, the gong and shou dote on each other. One-on-one romance, both are each other's first love.

The shou is named Yan Huai (huai). It's not a duplicate name, so don't misread it.

Theme: If you take in a little animal, you have to care for it for life.
