Dog-training romance in the early chapters / obsessive pursuit and groveling in the later chapters
[Arrogant, domineering princess x humble, deranged, disfigured hostage prince]
As a princess of Yanchu, Qu Xiangyue had been pampered and fortunate since childhood, and had grown spoiled and domineering.
Everyone said she lived a carefree life, but no one knew about the princess's secret habit: she kept the disfigured hostage prince as her dog.
*
Abandoned by Zhongjin, Yuan Shaojing was sent to Yanchu as a hostage.
When they first met, Qu Xiangyue casually pointed at him, and he became her attendant.
Faced with her stunning, graceful beauty, Yuan Shaojing had no right to refuse. He could only swallow his disgust and endure her taming, bit by bit.
At the time, everyone said the hostage prince was quiet and odd. Given the princess's temperament, surely she'd tire of him soon and cast him aside like trash.
But after he entered her household, the princess grew more radiant and well-nourished by the day.
Meanwhile, desire slowly appeared in Yuan Shaojing's dark eyes.
Outsiders didn't know how often she teased him until he cried, only for him to turn around and beg the princess not to abandon him.
Nor could they have known that after the princess strode out of his room, a single white robe barely covering her pearly skin was all that remained behind the half-closed door.
Beneath that robe, the clear white jade pendant at his waist slipped down carelessly, swaying as it struck the spot that was still burning hot...
It still carried the trace of her presence.
Yuan Shaojing's ears turned crimson. No matter how tightly he clenched his fingers, he couldn't stop himself from trembling with unsatisfied desire.
He felt that he, like the jade pendant, had become her plaything.
But he didn't find it unbearable.
After a long drought, even the slightest rain was enough. His life was bitter, but give him the smallest kindness and he would follow his master with the devotion of a dog.
So Yuan Shaojing lost himself in that sweet embrace, willingly accepting a life spent by her side.
Yet just as he had fallen deepest, Yueyue, whom he had carefully cherished in his heart, smiled and said to him:
"Yuan Shaojing, did you really think I meant it?"
*
In a single night, corpses covered the land of Yanchu, and Qu Xiangyue lost her home and country.
Rain poured over her face and soaked her dark crimson dress, chilling her to the bone. A stranger approached her.
His face was spattered with blood, like an evil spirit crawling out of hell.
She had never seen him before. Thinking her death was near, she picked up a gold hairpin and held it to her neck.
"Are you here to take my life?"
Yuan Shaojing stared at the disheveled woman before him. He reached out with long fingers, lifted her chin, and kissed her.
The taste of blood filled their mouths.
Ignoring her struggle, he leaned close to her ear and whispered:
"I'm here to love you, Yueyue."

[Please add my upcoming novel, A New Secretary Joins the CEO's Office, to your collection~
|Dark, deranged CEO who is genuinely unwell x bright, healing secretary with a hidden ruthless side|
|Rekindled romance|Possessive|Healing|Powerful man learns to bend|
After leaving Ren Xiuyuan, Su Tang began dating and job hunting as planned.
But lately, she couldn't shake the feeling that everything was going wrong, as if she were having a streak of bad luck.
Her well-matched blind date canceled for no reason. The job she'd finally landed after passing an interview suddenly fell through. Even the landlord of the place she'd paid a full year's rent for put it up for sale and demanded she move out that very night...
The man waited by the roadside, watching her drag her luggage around in a miserable state, homeless.
He got out of his car and walked steadily over to her, smiling in a deranged way.
"Looks like your only option is to come back to my bed."
Seven months earlier, Su Tang had been at the end of her rope when someone sent her to meet Ren Xiuyuan.
She'd heard that he was shrewd, ruthless, and cold, with naked ambition beneath his polished exterior.
But no one knew that Ren Xiuyuan, who wielded absolute power and could make anything happen, was unwell.
At their first meeting, Su Tang saw his beautiful secretary wiping away tears as she efficiently directed workers to replace all the things damaged in the CEO's office.
She was frightened, and even had the vague feeling that someone was watching her from the shadows.
A gloomy gaze shot through the glass wall of the CEO's office. His thin lips moved, and she read his words:
"Get out."
Su Tang froze in fright, but she had no way to avoid him. Even knowing she was walking into a wolf's den, she could only greet him with a smile.
She believed there was plenty of time.
*
Ren Xiuyuan lay quietly in bed, listening to the rain, holding close the bitter medicine that could cure him.
His large hand rubbed the back of her neck. His gaze burned with restrained desire as he stared at the red marks he'd left on her body.
A moment later, the illness rooted in him grew wild again. He roused her roughly and asked, "Are you like this with every man?"
Still half asleep, Su Tang showed no displeasure. She knew it was time for his nightly search for a cure.
She only mumbled, "If I said I'm only like this with you, would you... believe me?"
Ren Xiuyuan gave a cold laugh. His movements didn't grow any gentler, but he willingly fell into her deception.
"Want me to believe you? Then show me."
*
The secretary's office was celebrating having made it through the most peaceful seven months in its history.
Next door, the CEO's office was once again strewn with papers, shattered vases, and broken furniture after a long stretch of calm...
It was all Ren Xiuyuan's "handiwork."
Only he knew that he had never recovered. He simply had his medicine by his side most of the time, so his symptoms rarely flared up.
But things were different now: his medicine was gone.
Ren Xiuyuan took out one document after another from a locked safe and hurriedly placed them in her hands, his eyes bloodshot.
"Tangtang, everything you asked for is right here. It's all yours."
"Can you stop talking about leaving?"
Su Tang simply stood there, unmoved by his humble, bowed figure. She stared at him coldly, the red scars on her lips still bearing the dried blood left by their passionate night together.
After returning to him the same word he'd said when they first met, she lifted her head and walked away.
She didn't get to hear Ren Xiuyuan's nearly deranged, fervent murmur:
"Keep lying to me, Tangtang."
Theme: Stay positive, stay passionate, always
The female goose is so cute [Let me be healthy] I thought she knew everything 😏 I didn't expect it to be a primary school chicken 🐶 The contrast is cute 😚
"Then since the fate is like this, Qu Song..." This is a big mistake for the author~ Isn't he the seventh prince? His name is wrong.
