She Rules the Apocalypse by Delivering Takeout

Meituan Delivery Rider No. 32 was a diligent delivery worker.

There were always problems on the way to make deliveries. Sometimes the weather was bad and sour red rain fell. But customers' orders couldn't wait, so she added a cover to her little electric scooter, letting it speed through wind, rain, frost, and snow without trouble.

Sometimes a few stray creatures ran out onto the main road. She would stop first and move them somewhere safe. If she had time, she'd even help trim their scales and feelers, and take them to get neutered.

Meituan Delivery Rider No. 32 rode her little electric scooter every day to deliver food. Her uniform was neat, and she was fast and punctual, earning widespread praise.

Her orders kept increasing, and at last her little wallet grew nice and plump.

One fine afternoon, she planned to use the little bit of money she'd saved to try McDonald's newest juicy shrimp burger!

In the 899th year since the Weird Tide erupted, people had grown used to fighting countless terrifying contaminated entities and rebuilding their homes in the face of despair.

But one day, a delivery worker came to their world.

Just as the battle between the two sides reached its fiercest point, a figure in yellow suddenly appeared on an electric scooter.

Her little scooter feared no damage, charging all the way into the contaminated entities' lair.

Her speed was unstoppable, far beyond the official SSS-level assessment.

She especially loved taking down the monsters glowing green, but would pause for a moment when the red light came on.

Thanks to this inexplicable assistance, humanity saw hope of rebuilding their home.

The authorities worked through the night discussing the mysterious delivery worker's identity. Drones livestreamed her movements, and everyone gathered before the base's giant screen, cheering her on with every expedition.

When they saw her get off her scooter in front of the contaminated entities, everyone's heart clenched. Was their hero about to fall?

Wait, what was she doing?

...Did she just neuter the contaminated entity?

...Did she bake another one into a little cookie???

Meituan Delivery Rider No. 32: Yay! I got to eat a shrimp burger today!
