The Softhearted Cat God

Lin Jiaqi's cat went missing. It had been gone for a month.

It was a lazy, picky, chubby cat that liked to bask in the sun and sleep in. Whenever someone rubbed its belly, it would purr contentedly.

One day, a thief broke into the house. Lin Jiaqi lost her valuables, and her cat was gone too. When she got home, all she saw was the empty cat bed on the balcony.

She searched underground slaughterhouses and posted missing-cat notices everywhere. She even crossed paths with a cat dealer at a crossroads, but found nothing.

Meanwhile, her little cat closed its eyes in a filthy iron cage. On the verge of death, it let out a pleading meow, hoping to get her attention like it used to, hoping she would come over and pet it, hoping she would look at it one last time.

Up in a tree, A Tian watched everything in silence, licked her paws, and sighed as she swished her tail.

Humans really are so silly. They don't even know to make a wish to the Cat God!

As everyone knows, many humans worship the Cat God at home, praying for wealth and good fortune.

A Tian is a stray Cat God, tasked with testing little humans and making good people rich while bringing bad people bad luck.

The cat dealer who steals pet cats and sends them to slaughterhouses: X

The pervert who abuses stray kittens: X

The old lady who adopts disabled cats: check

And the little human who puts up missing-cat notices every day...

A Tian's little paws never stopped scurrying as she went to test each of these humans in turn.

After failing to find her cat, the little human met A Tian in an alley.

At dusk one afternoon, she dabbed medicine on the wounds on A Tian's paws and chattered away: "Why have you been fighting again? It's too dangerous. Don't go out anymore."

A Tian wasn't afraid of danger!

She was the Cat God, and she would bless every beloved furry child and help them return home safely.
