Lou Xueping wailed: "Big brother, take me on as your underling! I'll do anything!"
The team members: Where'd this kid come from? Dream on! Hahahaha...
Yu Changfeng looked down at him and smiled. "Sure."
A newcomer recently arrived at the N13 Wanderer Base. Word was, he had no abilities at all, and Yu Changfeng, the base's strongest ability user, had brought him in personally.
The base was abuzz with gossip, but Lou Xueping didn't care.
Now that he was at the base and had a powerful backer, he'd landed himself a steady meal ticket, hadn't he? And he'd be safe, too. It was better than wandering outside.
Keeping his meal ticket secure meant pleasing his benefactor, naturally.
When his benefactor was hungry, Lou Xueping cooked. When he was thirsty, Lou Xueping brought him water. When he was tired, Lou Xueping gave him a massage... Wherever his benefactor went, Lou Xueping went too!
He did his benefactor's laundry, fended off his admirers, and took care of his bed...
Wait, that last one didn't sound right, did it?
Lou Xueping, lying in bed: "We're still just master and servant, with a pure and proper bond, right, boss?"
Yu Changfeng, just out of the shower: "..."
At last, everyone at the base figured it out. The kid was Yu Changfeng's precious little wife.
Lou Xueping: "Nonsense! I'm just a toady!"
Onlookers: "...You might have a slight misunderstanding about what that word means."
Actually, Lou Xueping thought his benefactor was a little strange too. He never let him go out, wouldn't let him talk to anyone else, and was always insisting on sleeping while holding him.
Oh well. He was under his benefactor's protection, so he might as well humor him.

Good times didn't last. The N13 Base was about to blow up, too.

Then one day, he ran into another team of ability users, whose captain took an interest in his combat skills.
Lou Xueping was overjoyed: A new powerful backer? Sign me up!
"So, boss, where are we going?"
The captain nodded confidently. "We're going to take down the rebel leader, Yu Changfeng."
Lou Xueping: "!!! How are we supposed to beat him?"
To stay alive, even if he'd picked the wrong powerful backer, he could only grit his teeth and keep going for now...
That night, Lou Xueping was preparing to use his old escape trick again. He'd barely made it two miles when he plunged straight into familiar arms.
The man nuzzled him affectionately. "Where were you planning to run off to this time...?"
Lou Xueping's survival instinct kicked in for the Nth time: "Of course I was coming to you, boss!"

Yu Changfeng met a little liar.
The boy showered him with praise, putting on such an exaggerated, clumsy act that it made Yu Changfeng laugh.
And yet he really was moved. From that moment on, a young Lou Xueping stepped into his life.
Yu Changfeng had never loved anyone so much. He was even willing to give him everything he had.
Until one morning, when he thought his new life was about to begin, he woke up and found that Lou Xueping was no longer curled up in his arms.
At last, he understood that Lou Xueping had been lying to him.
But how do you punish a heartless little liar?
The lord of the new world came up with a good solution. He would make the little liar his lifelong partner, someone who would never be allowed to leave him.
P.S.:
1. The uke has no abilities, and never gains any. Really, none. But his greatsword is powerful, practically an ancient divine weapon, and he's tough enough to take a lot of damage.
2. The seme absolutely spoils the uke. He really loves him, and it's love at first sight. The uke is very slow to recognize his own feelings.
3. A lot of the worldbuilding is made up. The author's state of mind is beautiful.
