[Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Saber] Song Qingshu Is Probably Missing a Soul

Song Qingshu was afraid of dreaming. Every time he dreamed, he would soon face experiences similar to the dream, and they never ended well.

He watched as his Third Uncle was attacked and left disabled, his Fifth Uncle and Fifth Aunt were trapped by duty and love and both took their own lives, and Wuji and Zhi Mei were left orphaned and alone as children. Wuji in particular suffered the agony of a cold poison despite being innocent. Kind-hearted Auntie Ji met with disaster at the hands of a villain, Yang Xiao. Sixth Uncle was trapped by love and spent years in misery. Then even his own experiences turned out to be those of another hapless soul in this world. He often lamented that Heaven was cruel, that good people had such hard lives, and that those bound by love and duty were doomed to misfortune. But after all his hardships, he eventually discovered that the greatest villain in his life was himself.

(The above is from the male lead's perspective.)

The original character's personality is a combination of Linghu Chong and Meng Sanxi. He's protective of his younger brother and sister, straight, and prone to making biased assumptions. He's a lovesick fool, and his CP is Zhi Mei (though Zhou is probably not the most prominent female character). It's one-on-one with mutual feelings from beginning to end, but I want to try writing melodramatic misunderstandings and push-and-pull even when both sides like each other, hahaha.

The story combines elements from 01, 03, the novel, and original plotlines. The male lead will keep wanting to complain about the Zhi Min and Liu Buhui pairings, but to no avail.
