Making Games in the Cultivation World

After dying from overwork, game planner Song Xuanli transmigrates into the world of cultivation.

By an odd twist of fate, she becomes the disciple of a master who cultivates by making money. She also learns that her spiritual constitution is unusual: if she doesn't reach the Golden Core stage within a year, she will die.

Song Xuanli: ...How much money do I need to earn to reach the Golden Core stage?

Her master, dressed in a robe worth a hundred thousand spirit stones, smiles faintly as he picks up an Enlightenment Flower with an opening bid of three million spirit stones. "One million spirit stones. You can't borrow it or beg for it."

Song Xuanli: ...

Song Xuanli grits her teeth. "Fine, if all I have to do is make money, then how about a gacha mobile game based on illusions and formations?"

At first, everyone in the cultivation world is simply amazed by this wondrous new entertainment and how addictive it is.

But before long, they realize something is off:

The single-player game Getting Over It is the perfect way for Buddhist cultivators at Brahma Sound Temple to train their minds and practice the vow of silence.

The rhythm game Lingering Melodies is the ideal platform for music cultivators to share compositions and exchange creative experience.

Cultivators of the Heartless Path, try a dating game. One moment of losing your guaranteed draw six times in a row will let you experience the most authentic severing of love, with your heart turned to ashes!

Sword cultivators and body cultivators should try a full-dive combat game. Sect leaders no longer need to worry about reimbursing damaged equipment!

Talisman cultivators? Take a look at this card game. You can post guides to the strongest card and talisman combinations on the forum, debate and exchange ideas with fellow practitioners, and win exclusive titles!

These games seem to be more than just fun!!!

"Venerable Xuanli, you are a god!"

"You can't go wrong getting into Venerable Xuanli's games!"

"If Xuanli had never been born, gaming would have been shrouded in darkness for eternity."

"Another day of offering Venerable Xuanli ten 648-yuan top-ups!"

The blurb has been changed, but the memes, characterizations, and plot are all unchanged (but the heroine's name has been changed).

Theme: Sunny, positive, and uplifting.
