Racing with You Toward the Wilderness

Shen Zhiyan thought he might have blown up the entire Milky Way in his previous life.

His partner cheated, and he hit a creative block. His two biggest headaches collided like two planets, splitting his brain in half.

The pressure and emotions left him struggling to breathe, as if he were about to suffocate.

The "ride-hailing driver" had a very handsome face, handsome enough to make him look like a bad guy.

The not-so-good-guy-looking "ride-hailing driver" had a wild, rootless look in his eyes. He lifted his chin at Shen Zhiyan. "Heading downtown? I can give you a lift."

That lift took him straight to a room at a guesthouse.

- "Maybe, at this moment, you'll be the leading man in my heart."

- "Is that so? You might be disappointed. I've never been one for relationships."

Beneath the stars, Shen Zhiyan faced the evening breeze and gazed into the man's eyes, as if a star had fallen into the Milky Way.

"Xing, I can't see through you, and I can't hold on to you."

[Between us, is this mostly fate, or are we driven by debts from a past life?]

At his words, the man turned his head. A spark flared at his fingertips, and the faint smell of smoke mingled with the air and drifted toward the horizon.

"Your eyes are red. Is the wind strong, or am I just that bad?"

Only then did Shen Zhiyan realize what had happened.

On his very first day in Kunming, he'd gotten into the man's car. After that, he could never get out.

But so what if he couldn't get out?

He was determined to catch that wisp of wind in the wilderness.

And if he couldn't catch it, he'd smash the car and jump out!
