Coveted by a Top Alpha After Becoming a Cannon Fodder Beta

At seventeen, Qiu Sui suddenly differentiated as an utterly ordinary beta, and dreamed that he was a cannon-fodder character in a novel, while his twin brother was the novel's protagonist uke.

His younger brother would differentiate as an S-class omega and become entangled in a love-hate relationship with an S-class alpha named Shen Zhixiao. Qiu Sui would fall in love with Shen Zhixiao, turn against his own brother, and ultimately watch the two of them find their happy ending, while he died from rejecting an omega conversion drug he'd injected himself with for Shen Zhixiao's sake.

Qiu Sui didn't take the ridiculous dream seriously at first. Then, at eighteen, his younger brother differentiated as an S-class omega and heard Shen Zhixiao's name during freshman orientation. Alarm bells started ringing.

Fortunately, Qiu Sui didn't develop feelings for Shen Zhixiao like he had in the dream.

He had no intention of getting between his brother and Shen Zhixiao. In fact, he was more than happy to wish them well. Still, just to be safe, he decided to avoid that alpha whenever they crossed paths and find someone suitable to date.

But before he could put that plan into action, he was dragged into a pitch-black room and marked for an entire night.

When he woke up and saw the vicious alpha and the mess he'd become, Qiu Sui's vision went black, and he nearly fainted again.

A cautious, slow-witted beta X a paranoid, petty Alpha

This is probably a story about a seme with a ridiculously obvious crush who pursues his love, only to discover that his love has been avoiding him all along, and then has a complete meltdown. (Pay attention to this part.)

Next up: Please Take Good Care of Your Beta Office Drone

Chen Yu is an ordinary, unremarkable beta.

He's antisocial and plain-looking. His teenage years held no passionate memories, and he never got to enjoy a carefree college life.

He made it through four years of college by the book, then joined a small company after graduating and settled into the routine of a 996 office drone.

His quiet life was thrown off balance when his younger brother finished the college entrance exam and brought a friend to stay at his apartment. That friend was an unwelcome, ill-mannered intruder.

Every night, his younger brother's fierce alpha friend pinned him beneath himself and had his way with him, whispering all sorts of suggestive sweet nothings in his ear.

The poor beta counted down the days until his brother was due to leave. At last, at the end of August, he watched the two of them go, his lower back aching, and planned to return to his unchanged, peaceful life.

But that very night, the alpha he'd just seen off reappeared at his apartment door. His tall figure stood beneath the dim light, his brows radiating a feverish lust as he fixed his gaze on Chen Yu, ready to pounce.

"That annoying guy is finally gone. Now we can enjoy some quality time together, big brother."

An antisocial, meek, listless beta with a faint death wish, Chen Yu X Sheng Zechuan, a rough, ill-mannered, fierce alpha-in-training

Age gap: five years, with the seme younger
