After Trying to Kill My Childhood Friend's Love Rival and Messing Up

Because he gets into fights, skips dorm curfew, and ranks at the bottom of his class, Qi Ran has quite a reputation, and not a good one. He usually has nothing to do with the model students and never gives those bookworms the time of day.

Except for one person.

Xi Yanzhou.

The childhood friend and romantic rival who has the same crush as Qi Ran, towers over him in both grades and reputation, and is always catching him breaking the rules or sneaking out of the dorm. All while wearing that cold, heartless expression.

Just seeing his face is enough to make Qi Ran grind his teeth in anger.

But to stop Xi Yanzhou from getting an opportunity with his crush, Qi Ran swallows his urge to beat him up, moves to the seat beside him, and sabotages every chance Xi Yanzhou gets to approach their crush. All he gets in return is a faintly lowered gaze and a strange, scrutinizing look.

"Are you secretly in love with me?"

"I'm secretly in love with you, you *&%#..." Qi Ran turns beet red on the spot, curses him out with every filthy word he knows, then clenches his fists and threatens the two-faced jerk to stay away from his crush.

"Sure."

To Qi Ran's surprise, the usually stern Xi Yanzhou readily agrees to his warning.

As Qi Ran stands there dumbfounded, Xi Yanzhou suddenly wraps a hand around his fist. The next second, his low voice explodes right beside Qi Ran's ear.

"Then let's date."

...What?!

When he finally gets it, Qi Ran glares at him with bloodshot eyes.

Damn you, Xi Yanzhou. You'd stoop to this kind of dirty trick just to mess with me.

I'll beat you up this time, or I'll take your last name!

A double-standard, secretly flirtatious top x a hotheaded little rascal of a bottom
