Story One

You meet a beautiful bird on your balcony.

It appears there every night.

It flies into your palm and occasionally shows off its feathers to you.

You think it simply likes you,

until one day it starts bringing you beautiful gemstones, and things begin to get strange.

On Valentine's night, you don't find the bird on the balcony. Instead, you meet a beautiful young man with wings, who says in a lovely voice, "Please be my mate."

Story Two

You live by the sea and have a childhood friend whom you can only meet after dusk. He often appears behind the reefs and won't let you go near them. You assume he doesn't like being around other people, so you don't think much of it.

As if to make up for not being able to get close to you, he sometimes gives you gifts: shells and pearls. On the evening of your high school graduation, you even receive a scale that shimmers pink.

You're curious about what the scale is. Your childhood friend asks you, his face pale, whether you like it.

Meeting his serious gaze, you suddenly get a bad feeling. Maybe...

You're just imagining things.

How could mermaids possibly exist?

Story Three

You have a fiancee. She's beautiful, but in poor health. You love each other, and she often asks to meet you at night, where the two of you share intimate moments.

During a kiss, your fiancee bites you and drinks your blood. Seeing her scarlet eyes and bloodstained fangs, you finally realize she's not an ordinary human, but a vampire.

"I've wanted to drink your blood for a long time." Her voice is no longer gentle, and you realize one more thing: your fiancee is a man.

You: "..."

Story Four

You run into your archenemy at a mixer. The two of you don't get along, so you can't focus on meeting anyone, and the mixer ends in failure.

Outside the venue, you accuse him of deliberately ruining your plans. Your archenemy just grins. "Oh, I did it on purpose."

You want nothing to do with this irritating enemy. But he keeps showing up in front of you, saying things to make you angry, then happily enjoying your outbursts. Once, he even takes your hand and bites your finger.

That night, you have an indescribable dream in which your archenemy does something very intimate to you.

"I told you, you're my incubus's property."

Story Five

You're a student in the general studies department.

The person you like is incredibly popular in the performing arts department.

You have no chance to meet him, until one day you go to his classroom.

He welcomes you warmly and asks your name.

Overwhelmed, you stammer out your name, and he gives you a note with his contact information.

Rather than feeling your heart flutter, you just find it strange. You don't understand his behavior at all, so you ignore the note.

Then one day, he comes to your classroom and calls you up to the roof, asking why you haven't contacted him.

"I've been waiting for your email this whole time," he says, as strange tentacles appear and wrap around your ankles.

"I've been watching you for a long time."

Story Six

After starting university, you quickly come to enjoy a fun social life full of mixers. You think you'll keep having a good time, until you come home and find the robot butler who was supposed to be working at the mansion.

The serious, meticulous butler looks critically at the mess in your room, decides you need him to teach you how to live, and sets a curfew.

You complain bitterly, but secretly look forward to it, thinking that if you behave for a few days, the robot butler will get the hint and leave.

But a day passes, then two, then a month, then two months, and he still shows no sign of leaving. You even discover him bending down to kiss you while you're asleep.

"Don't look at anyone else, my young master."

Story Eight: You're a hero from another world. According to the script, you'll defeat the Demon King and return to your original world. But instead, halfway through your journey, your trusted teacher takes you away. It turns out he's the Demon King.
