The Troubles of a Young Skylark

A companion story to Will the Chairman Be Purging the School's Discipline Today, Too? You don't need to have read it.

This is the story of Hibari who disappeared at fifteen in the original.

Hibari Kyoya defected.

After realizing he was merely a character in a "book," the proud chairman defected.

What would you do if you found out you were a supporting character in a manga?

Hibari Kyoya had never considered that question.

One day, a book fell from the sky and landed in front of him.

He saw some familiar names in it.

Sawada Tsunayoshi, Yamamoto Takeshi... and some unfamiliar names too: Gokudera Hayato, Rimbaud...

Those names were linked with his own and given the title "Vongola."

Hibari Kyoya scoffed.

He put the whole thing out of his mind.

Until an uninvited guest appeared in Namimori.

The guest looked like a little baby, but wore a ridiculous suit.

The first time he saw Hibari, he greeted him with a "Ciaos."

Hibari opened his eyes.

He remembered what the book said: the strongest man in Reborn!, the world's number one hitman, Reborn.

"Wow," Hibari exclaimed.

--

After confirming that he was merely a supporting character in a manga,

Hibari Kyoya defected without hesitation.

The chairman refused to be part of a predetermined story, so he decided to break the story and escape beyond the bounds of the world.

But breaking a predetermined story always comes at a cost. Even the freest of clouds, unwilling to be bound, had to pay for what Hibari had done.

And so:

A new ruler appeared in the Jujutsu Kaisen world.

The Book in Bungo Stray Dogs gained a caretaker.

A young boss of the liquor factory appeared in the Detective Conan world.

A new superstar emerged in the Prince of Tennis world.

A rogue ninja boss appeared in the Naruto world.

A rebel appeared in the Vongola world.
