My Assigned Roommate Is a Tentacle Monster

In the new era, people could apply to the System to have visitors from other worlds become their roommates. But because the matches were random, and most of the "visitors" didn't suit human tastes, few people applied.

Rong Shi was a shut-in manga artist. One day, on a whim, he submitted an application to the System. The next day, he got a roommate: a small, tentacled creature, like a baby tentacle monster.

His roommate was clingy and loved to act cute. When Rong Shi curiously parted its tentacles, it would shyly curl up.

"It's kind of cute," Rong Shi thought as his roommate pawed at a ball of fluff like a cat.

Gradually, he got used to having this extra roommate around.

"Could you help me out?" Once they'd gotten to know each other, Rong Shi asked his roommate ingratiatingly.

Besides drawing manga, he also took on private commissions.

"Mmm?" His roommate looked at Rong Shi in confusion.

"Be my model for a bit."

"Mmm?"

After serving as his model for a while, Huai also learned a lot of new things without Rong Shi noticing.

So its tentacles could be used like that too???

Huai stared in shock at the manga Rong Shi had drawn. Hearing footsteps, Huai quickly put the book back where it belonged.

"Could you model for me again?" asked Rong Shi, completely unaware, of his roommate.

"Mmm!"

Later... the little tentacle monster finally grew up.
