After Faking My Death in the Apocalypse, My Wife Went Mad for Me

Also known as: Radiation 2068 or After Faking My Death, My Cold Wife Went Mad for Me

Serious blurb:

2068, the thirtieth year since the nuclear contamination outbreak.

Radiation, zombie hordes, mutated beasts, and harsh weather... Humanity has been forced into the abyss, establishing settlements along underground rail lines and rivers, hoping that mutations in the genetic chain will bring the only glimmer of hope.

In March 2068, senior researcher Shi Zhiyan secretly returns to the city, but her plane crashes, destroying ten years of research in an instant.

Rumor has it that Shi Zhiyan didn't die, but instead kept for herself the genetic radiation serum that could give people a new lease on life...

Romance blurb:

Lu Tingwei has few family ties and is ruthless when she acts. No one dares come within a hair's breadth of her.

Except Shi Zhiyan.

That woman isn't the least bit afraid of her cold words. She leaves her a bowl of hot noodles in the early morning, and kisses her scars on countless nights, telling her they're beautiful.

So even though Lu Tingwei knows she has ulterior motives, she still falls for her.

Even if she has to give up everything and lose it all, she only wants Shi Zhiyan by her side.

But that woman really did deceive her. After leaving a letter, she died beyond the city and never came back.

Then one day:

Lu Tingwei, whose heart has turned to ash and who has grown thinner by the day after her wife's death, suddenly sees the beloved woman who died years ago, in disguise, casually walk right past her.

Lu Tingwei: Ha.

Steady, decisive, and wicked younger top x cold, sharp-tongued, but deeply devoted older bottom

1. Plot and romance are split evenly. Post-apocalyptic survival, with plenty of fight scenes and the usual battle injuries.

2. The genetic chain includes some mutations, and there are supernatural abilities. A high-martial-arts, low-magic world.

3. The romance is as described in the blurb, a little cheesy.

4. It's true that Shi Zhiyan deceived someone, but her wife is utterly in love with her.

5. So, best wishes to the happy couple (not really).

Theme: Courage is humanity's hymn.
