Spring Never Came When I Arrived

In the first month of the tenth year of Zhaoning, heavy snow falls on the outskirts of the capital. The eldest legitimate daughter of the Minister's residence is suddenly betrothed to the eldest son of the General Who Guards the Far Borders.

How can she build a life with someone she does not love?

Their marriage is loveless, and she has never seen her husband's face. Yet when he returns from the border, the first thing he says is, "I want to take a wife."

Her husband's younger brother flirts with her, and she accidentally discovers that he isn't really his brother.

Later, he calls out from the window, "Zhang Lansi, you're like a block of wood."

No, she isn't.

Lansi is spring, and Huaixu is autumn.

Spring and autumn are bound by fate.

"I say autumn surpasses springtime."

"The wind is moving," Lansi murmurs.

At the time, Xie Huaixu doesn't understand.

Only later does he realize.

It is his heart that has moved.
