The Beloved Little One in a Wife-Chasing Story

Nan You is a lively, adorable four-year-old.

He lives with his dad in a remote village, and the two depend on each other.

They may not have much money, but their life is peaceful and happy.

There are always plenty of fruits and vegetables at home. His dad can cook all kinds of delicious meals and snacks, and takes him to pick peaches, lychees, and grapes, feeding him until he's chubby and rosy-cheeked.

There are few people nearby and the scenery is lovely. His dad takes him all over the place, brings him to splash and swim in a stream, and catches sparkling fireflies for him.

As long as he's with his dad, he's the happiest four-year-old in the whole world!

But one day, a strange man shows up at their house and says he's going to take them away to live in the big city.

The strange man is tall and intimidating, but he's gentle with Nan You.

He always gives Nan You all kinds of fresh, tasty food, buys him beautiful new clothes, and gives him lots of fun toys and games.

So Nan You isn't afraid of the strange man.

He likes him and is willing to live with him.

Until one night, when he has a truly terrifying dream...

It turns out he's just a plot-device kid in a novel, and the strange man is his other father.

Because the strange man once hurt his dad badly, they were separated for several years.

If Nan You wants a happy, complete family, he has to help them make up.

Nan You wakes up in disbelief.

What! A! Joke!

No matter who the other man is, he can't hurt Nan You's beloved dad!

So when Nan You sees the strange man again, he puts on a stern little face, refuses to greet him, and ignores him.

He refuses all his gifts and rushes forward to land several fierce little punches.

"Don't come to my house again!"

"I don't like you anymore!"

"Go away! Or... or I'll beat you up!"

He doesn't need his dad to make up with the strange man!

He and his dad are already a happy, complete family. Hmph!
