Determined to Become the Crown Prince's Consort

Xia Chuqing and Lu Yongqing

Xia Chuqing is determined to become the Crown Princess!

First, she saves an official from the Eastern Palace and recruits him as her adviser.

Second, on her adviser's recommendation, she changes into a skirt and puts on makeup, transforming herself into the sort of girl the Crown Prince might like.

Third, after tripping and falling outside, Xia Chuqing storms back in, grabs her adviser's collar, her fair face flushed with anger, and demands, "Tell me, who is the Crown Prince?"

Her expression turns fierce as she says ominously, "If I can't be someone the Crown Prince likes, then I'll become the Crown Prince!"

Lu "Fake Official, Real Crown Prince" Yongqing's expression changes slightly.
