Thirty Thousand Years After the Old Gods Fell [Western Fantasy]

Lucifer x Michael

The only time Lucifer ever sensed a powerful surge of emotion from Michael was the moment he seized divine authority and tossed the bloodstained cross of the Creator in front of him.

"I curse you! I will curse you forever!"

The archangel who had always been impartial and just, righteous and compassionate, seemed to have broken. The Laws pinned him to the ground, yet he held his head high, his eyes filled with deep-seated hatred.

But so what?

The former Demon King, now the God of Light, gave a scornful smile. He lifted his nemesis's chin with elegant fingers, not a trace of amusement in his eyes.

Michael, instead of hating and blaming me, why not go blame your former master?

After all, no matter how much you resent me, you can never betray me, never leave me, and will always obey me.

Because the Great Prince of Heaven will never fall, and will always be the most loyal servant of the divine. That was the first law the old god inscribed in the Book of Truth.

Lucifer smiled at Michael and said, "Perhaps you should start calling me Master."
