|The Chase That Burns Like Hell|*|Rekindled Romance|
Noble, reserved minister-general x pure, elegant hidden maiden
She lived alone in Fanyou Valley, cut off from the world. One day, she found a gravely wounded man in the river and brought him home, never imagining he was Song Tingshi, the renowned great general of Northern Qi.
When Song Tingshi awoke, he found himself in a strange place, with no idea where or when the plainly dressed woman before him was from.
He asked his savior, "May I ask your name, miss?"
"I... I don't have a name..."
"No name? Then allow me to give you one!"
And so she was given a name: A Li.
As the two recovered at the bottom of the valley, they gradually fell for each other. Song Tingshi only belatedly realized that he had fallen in love. But all his life, he had known only how to serve the throne, spending his days at war. A Li knew Fanyou Valley could not keep him, so she used her kindness as leverage and demanded he marry her?
Song Tingshi agreed.
Rumors abounded in the capital of Shangjing: General Song Tingshi of Northern Qi had brought back a countrywoman from the mountains, and she had used her kindness as leverage to force him to marry her.
New to Shangjing, A Li struggled to adjust. Song Tingshi's position also drew her into the undercurrents of danger time and again. Their closeness eroded, and in the end A Li resolved to part ways with Song Tingshi.
One day, she was drinking with her friend Mu Feng, heir to the Marquis of Ding'an. On her way home around midnight, she ran into Song Tingshi returning from outside. They clashed, and after A Li drunkenly returned home, she kept murmuring, "Leave, leave Shangjing, leave A Shi..."
The young general, usually so composed, learned what she had in mind and was so shaken he lost his composure. "A Li, what did you say you wanted to leave?"
A Li: "Leave Shangjing, leave A Shi..."
The first time, at a palace banquet, she used herself as bait to persuade an assassin to take her out of the capital. Song Tingshi defied an imperial order and rode out that very night to bring her back.
The second time, while he was away fighting, she drugged the guards and escaped Shangjing. By a twist of fate, she ended up in his military camp, and was brought back to the capital once more.
The third time, while Song Tingshi was staying overnight at the military camp, she disguised herself as a servant and slipped past the guards to escape Shangjing again.
This time, she made it out. Song Tingshi searched for her like a madman, riding through the snowy night back to Fanyou Valley. The old place was overgrown with plants, but there was no one in sight. He searched all of Northern Qi for three years...
[Reading Guide]
1. One-on-one romance, both leads' first time, happy ending
2. Romance-focused, with plot as a secondary element. Don't take the plot too seriously; if that bothers you, read with caution. I'm practicing the pacing of a romance-focused story.
3. Set in a fictional world. No need to scrutinize the historical details.
Theme: Those who leave me behind belong to yesterday, and yesterday cannot be kept
"Just this hundred rice" is a big thorn in the side of the author~
Can you add more updates?!! So pretty
Good-looking, wonderful 🐶 🐶 🐶, my beloved wife ran away, I picked her up if she didn't want her
With Song's character, Ah Li should really run away... Do you really not think about avenging Ah Li? If you are too straight, your wife will run away.
The author should write more articles with this kind of setting. I would like to read it.
Have a great October~~Happy holidays
The male protagonist didn't explain Feng Wan's matter to the female protagonist... Well, it was a small matter.
①The daily sweet articles of "Golden Wind and Jade Dew" are being serialized ②Pre-release of "Yan Guili" in the next book: Marry first and fall in love later. After getting married, you find out that your husband's white moonlight is fake? [Ask for a little star to collect] ③The column "I'm Crazy for You" has been completed. Marry first and then love power and seek direction.
Oh my god, does the author also like Xian Ni? Hahaha 🤩 🤩
It feels like more than 70 chapters are spent on abusing the female protagonist. Can I abuse the male protagonist more forcefully later on? As I skipped reading, I felt that the male protagonist... Has no charm. He said that he loved the female protagonist but only did things that made the female protagonist sad.
