The first time Zenin Shinji heroically saved a god, the other party sent him crashing into the world of anime.
To make amends, the other party offered to compensate Zenin Shinji with ten billion in assets. The catch was that the assets were in the real world, and he had to die his way back to claim them.
Zenin Shinji: What's so hard about dying my way back? Easy.
After three days in seclusion, Zenin Shinji produced the suicide manual he had poured his heart and soul into writing:
First move: When a cursed spirit takes someone hostage, he kills himself. When danger appears, he charges in first. When there's a bomb, he goes to defuse it.
Second move: Avoid the beaten path. When danger appears, jump off a building, a cliff, or into a river.
Third move: Don't take medicine, or take the wrong medicine.
Fourth move: Stick your nose into other people's business. If you can, kill him. Play the saint. If you can, kill him.
He had clearly trained to perfection and tried everything in the manual, one by one. So why was he unexpectedly hard to kill?
Surrounded by cursed spirits once again, he pushed Yuji and Megumi aside as they fought to stay behind. His face relaxed into a bright, carefree smile. "I'll hold them off. You two, get out of here."
In Shibuya, danger lurked everywhere. He turned back alone, leaving everyone in a state of terror.
With a wave of cursed spirits this huge, there's no way he'll survive this time, right?
At that moment, Zenin Shinji, secretly thrilled, realized things seemed to be going in a very different direction...
Nobara: You should at least care about yourself a little! Doesn't it hurt?
Nanami: Don't forget that you can rely on the adults.
Megumi: We promised we'd see in the New Year together. Did you forget?
Yuji: Didn't we agree? How can you break your promise?
Gojo: You can rely on me. Don't forget, I'm the strongest.
"Don't leave me!" someone clutched him tightly in their arms. Zenin Shinji froze. That was cheating!
How was he supposed to bring himself to die now?
