The Years I Spent Promoting Traditional Chinese Medicine in Japan

Some ideas and a work in progress As the eighth-generation heir to a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, you set off on an exchange trip to Japan. On your first day there, excitedly visiting a sushi restaurant, you had barely taken two bites when the person at the next table started foaming at the mouth. As everyone panicked, you calmly took out your needles and stuck them all over the person's face. "What are you doing?!" a grade-schooler scolded you. "You're actually trying to kill someone with needles in broad daylight!" a middle-aged man glared at you. "I've already called the police," a handsome guy said, staring at you. Then the poisoned person opened their eyes and got up off the floor. "W-what happened?" The grade-schooler, the middle-aged man, and the handsome guy: !!! You, sipping tea elegantly.jpg: That's just the wonder of traditional Chinese medicine. * Traditional Chinese medicine relies on inspection, listening and smelling, inquiry, and palpation. Inspection. "Your face is colorless, your skin looks wrong, and your tongue, coating, and nose don't match. That face is fake!" Subaru Okiya: ... Listening and smelling. "The smell of liquor. Bourbon whiskey, and blood, too. Amuro, your life sounds pretty eventful." Tooru Amuro: ... Inquiry. "He didn't have a high fever before? It only started after he drank? No other signs of allergies, no medical history... Wait, your body's age doesn't add up!" Edogawa: ! Palpation. "Your pulse is irregular, and your heartbeat is too fast. Your pulse is beyond the cun position. Something's weighing on your mind. You're lying." Suspect: ... * You: "I've told you, I'm not a detective! I'm a doctor!!!" Everyone else: "You're a detective!"
