My next novel, A Concubine's Guide to Surviving in the Marquis's Household, is now available. It features a modern woman who transmigrates into the past.
This is my first novel, so read at your own risk. I enjoy all kinds of stories, so let's just have fun with it.
Also, I can't be held responsible for pirated copies. I've revised the prices and other details many times. Recently, I've noticed a lot of people skipping chapters and only subscribing to one every so often. There are so many pirated copies that I can't help laughing in frustration.
Li Xinzhu transmigrated.
She became the daughter of a scholar, who shared her name, and opened her eyes in a remote mountain wilderness.
Her parents were gone, and she had two younger siblings to raise.
What could she do? Her family had nothing, she had no money, she was saddled with heavy responsibilities, her body was weak, and her life was tragic.
Looking at her two frail but sensible younger siblings,
she gritted her teeth and was forced to provide for the family.
How could she support them? By using the skills she had brought from the modern world to work hard and make money!
Just as life was getting better,
the father she had only just found was lured away by his lover, who was a man.
After she finally got things under control, her fiancé showed up. He was tall and muscular, a military officer with an eight-pack and a handsome face.
She admitted it: she was smitten.
And then?
Then life took off, and the whole family was finally reunited.
But can someone explain what was going on with the other woman who transmigrated and the original heroine who had been reborn?
It didn't have much to do with her, anyway. It wouldn't stop her from making money.
In short, this is a cozy little story about a modern woman working hard to make money in ancient times.
A few things to know:
1. Another woman who transmigrated and the original heroine will appear later, but the original heroine's story won't take up much space.
2. This is a farming-life story. The heroine is focused on making money. Her younger brother takes the imperial exams, but she isn't the sort of sister who spoils him.
3. The hero is a devoted puppy and mostly a background character. He has no special identity; he's just a minor military officer. This is a cozy, everyday-life story.
Here's the blurb for my next novel, A Concubine's Guide to Surviving in the Marquis's Household. Please add it to your collection, everyone!
Ye Zhiwei made one careless mistake and transmigrated to ancient times, where she was a beautiful woman who had been abducted.
She tried everything to save herself and thought she had found a good person, only to be given away as a favor and sent to the bed of a highly renowned marquis.
As a modern woman, Ye Zhiwei had never suffered such a huge loss, so she made up her mind:
When you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head. A person has to know when to bend and when to stand firm.
She treated being a concubine as a high-paying job with meals and lodging included, and resolved to retire in comfort at the marquis's household.
Besides, the marquis was well-endowed and skilled in bed, with a fantastic physique. She was making a killing.
Gu Mingjue had a concubine who was sixteen, beautiful enough to make fish forget to swim and the moon hide behind clouds.
He thought there was only one problem: his beloved concubine was too timid to even step on an ant.
Until one day, Gu Mingjue saw with his own eyes as the timid, cowardly concubine he knew plunged a knife into the chest of the person who had harmed her. Blood splattered all over her face, but she didn't even blink.
Ye Zhiwei turned and saw him. Her usually impassive little face finally showed some emotion, but her voice was no longer delicate and weak. Instead, it was icy. "My lord, you're finally here."
At that moment, the powerful heart of a marquis who had spent years fighting in battle began to pound in utter confusion.
A fake frail flower who is a real concubine x a cold-faced, pretentious old man
A few rambling notes from an author who's bad at writing blurbs:
This is a coming-of-age story. Neither lead is a good person.
The heroine is very innocent at first, but later becomes an unconventional kind of good person.
They have a thirteen-year age gap.
The heroine will grow and change, and her identity will change as well.
Theme: In the face of adversity, watch Li Xinzhu turn the tables and rise against the odds, bringing her younger siblings along as she strives for a happy life.
The setting is not attractive, the plot of the farming novel is too popular, and the writing is not so good that people can ignore it, so just go for it.
Wow!!! The two dads have a good time!!!
I knock! Two dads! I knock!
What the hell are you writing? I just want to read normal farming articles.
The word "chicken smoke" has been changed to "Cui smoke"
A new article from ancient times will be published soon, "Survival Guide for the Concubine of the Hou Mansion", a story about the growth of a time-travelling woman. She will become the heroine of her own life. Please subscribe in advance. Thank you dears~~
