A Sacrifice in Dream of the Red Chamber

Also known as Dream of the Red Chamber: Jia Min's Soul Transmigrates into Madam Wang

After Jia Min died, she followed Daiyu back to Rongguo Mansion, the place where she had grown up. She thought her daughter would be happy there too, but never expected to witness her die of grief with her own eyes. She was unwilling to accept it, but there was nothing she could do.

When she awoke again, she found that the maid attending her was the personal maid of her second sister-in-law. She could hardly believe it, but she really had been reborn, taking on the identity of her "dear" second sister-in-law.

But this life was different in some ways. For instance, her second sister-in-law had given birth to twins: besides Jia Baoyu, there was a younger son named Jia Qiong. He had not been sent to live with Old Madam Jia, but had grown up right under her nose in Rongxi Hall.

Of course, Jia Min didn't care about any of that. The only thing on her mind now was her daughter, who was about to arrive in the capital...

First, she had to stop Jia Baoyu from hanging around her daughter and trying to curry favor with her. She absolutely could not let her daughter end up heartbroken over him.

Next, she had to leave her daughter her "only" relative, and try to send Jia Qiong to Yangzhou to look after Lin Ruhai.

Then, she had to get Jia Yuanchun, who was "making her way" in the palace, out of there. There was no need to spend so much money on her anymore. Madam Wang's private savings were meant for her own daughter.

And after that... What did it matter if she had to sacrifice herself?

With her soul still present, Madam Wang, following Jia Min around: What are you going to do to my children!
