How to Train a Tyrant into an Emperor for the Ages

System Alpha's first Host was trampled into a bloody pulp by a horse the moment it arrived. The poor soul died so thoroughly that the technology available at the time couldn't save him.

To carry out its great mission, it hurriedly switched to the next one.

But it had barely started the job when its second Host's head was severed from his neck. Before they could establish effective communication, it watched from inside that dead head as the unlucky man's body was kicked into a river.

The third Host, the fourth Host...

At last, all five Hosts had died violently. Alpha earned the unfortunate title of "Host Slayer," and finally came to its senses: relying on heaven or earth was no use. It was better to rely on itself. In the end, it would have to shoulder the great mission of saving the world on its own.

So, when its sixth Host died, it immediately took over and modified the body. But there was a problem: a System still needed a Host. Who should it choose?

That day, Qi Zhengning was beneath a peach tree, quietly contemplating the state of the world, when a seven-year-old brat came bouncing out and said something shocking:

[After considering all the factors, I have chosen you. Would you accept the challenge, end this era of chaos, achieve an immortal legacy, and earn the honorary title of "Sage Emperor of the Ages"]

Qi Zhengning flatly refused, though his hair stood on end. Had even a child seen through his treasonous ambitions?

This child could not be allowed to live.

Just as murderous intent surged in him, the child before him looked troubled, then set his gaze and stretched countless tentacles out from behind his back. They writhed like a swarm of serpents, as if a demon god had descended.

Alpha politely repeated: [I have already demonstrated my ability to assist you, so I'll ask again: are you willing to become the "Sage Emperor of the Ages"]

Qi Zhengning: …

A System that teaches people how to be human x an emperor who tries hard to be human

Theme: Be self-reliant and strive tirelessly
