I'm Really Just an Ordinary Person

In year XX, Blue Star discovered the scientific principles behind cultivating spells, ushering in an era where everyone practiced magic.

Science and magic were combined to create a new kind of glory. Anyone with the aptitude could attend a cultivation school.

Qiao Yuan showed little aptitude, but thanks to her local status, she was able to study magic at one of the best schools in Huaguo. One day, while out on the street, she noticed something strange. The bustling streets had become deserted, and even the air felt different.

Puzzled, Qiao Yuan made a mental note of it. Meanwhile, something else was quietly unfolding somewhere beyond her knowledge.

Not long afterward, the apocalypse arrived. As members of a new generation trained in magic, they had to exchange points for resources and join the battlefield themselves.

Qiao Yuan's response was: I'm just an ordinary person. Please leave me alone.

Her classmates: You? An ordinary person!? Are you kidding? Who would call the person ranked first in points an ordinary person?!

Qiao Yuan spread her hands innocently. I was just doing it along the way. They were blocking my path, after all.

As an ordinary person who witnessed the apocalypse from beginning to end, she said all she wanted was to find her parents and then hide out with them in the rear. But why did everything get more complicated the longer she searched? Her journey was full of twists and turns, rather like tadpoles looking for their mother.

The road to finding her family was long. She could only fight monsters while searching for clues.
