Giving the Male Lead a Golden Finger Again Today

Yu Zhi died, but came back to life, in a martial arts world, no less.

She was nervous and cautious, afraid she'd ended up somewhere dangerous.

After asking around, Yu Zhi relaxed.

It turned out she had transmigrated into a book, but she and her master were both nameless passersby who didn't appear in the story.

Yu Zhi thought, Great! I got to live again. What a bargain.

Joy turned to sorrow. When Yu Zhi was eight, her master brought her back to their mountain sect.

Before she could even wonder why there was a sect, she discovered it was a doomed cannon-fodder sect from the book, the kind that gets wiped out to the last member.

To change the sect's fate, Yu Zhi decided to try to save it.

So she arranged to run into the male lead and gave him lots of things.

But once those things reached his hands, they changed into something else.

Scrap metal became peerless divine weapons, and unfinished pills became miraculous elixirs.

A book she picked up at random on the street became a long-lost, one-of-a-kind edition in the male lead's hands.

Yu Zhi: What?! What's going on? I just wanted to give him a few random things to earn some goodwill.

After saving the male lead a few more times, Yu Zhi finally figured it out.

She wasn't a passerby. She was the old man responsible for handing out golden fingers.

Note:

1. The original male lead and female lead have no romantic storyline, and neither has romantic feelings for the other.

2. The female lead's love interest is her senior fellow disciple.

3. The romance is subtle and has little page time. The story focuses on the female lead saving her sect.

Theme: As long as life goes on, keep striving.
