Save the Sweet Talk for Late at Night

Shen Yan'an, the campus heartthrob of Nancheng Tong University, is cool and low-key. When he enrolled, he topped the polls for "Most Want to See Him Smile" and "Most Want to Be Hugged by Him."

In his two years at the university, rumors about him have become almost mythical.

They say no one has ever managed to make him laugh. Some have tried everything, but still haven't gotten a hug from him.

His admirers are beside themselves.

They also say that someone once happened to glimpse the faintest smile at the corner of his mouth in a quiet bar late at night, and was so captivated they lost their senses.

They didn't get a hug, but he personally helped them up once. They said their life was complete and went wild for three days.

When Tan Xingrui first arrived at the university, he had never met Shen Yan'an.

He thought everyone was exaggerating, and that the whole thing was ridiculous.

Then, one day, he happened to see the campus heartthrob, who was treated like some kind of immortal, by the back door of a quiet bar.

The other man was rubbing a stray dog's head, a smile on his face like snow melting in early spring.

Tan Xingrui blushed, his heart beating abnormally fast.

And another thing that felt abnormal was how he couldn't stop thinking that he wished he were the one getting his head rubbed.

Tan Xingrui went just as crazy as the rest of Shen Yan'an's admirers.

He actually wanted to act cute for Shen Yan'an, see him smile, be hugged by him, and have him all to himself.

Later, after getting drunk once,

Tan Xingrui finally let himself be spoiled, leaving only his clingy sweetness behind.

Cool, low-key, and unable to resist someone acting cute: the recipient x an affectionate, clingy pursuer
