Let Me Touch Your Tail

Jun Mu, the mountain god of his own realm, longed for everything beyond it. One day, unable to resist his curiosity, he left behind his vast peach-blossom grove and set off down the mountain. Someone blocked his way. The man was disheveled and naked, his body drenched in blood. He clutched the hem of Jun Mu's robe with the last of his strength. Even as he was on the verge of passing out, he endured the pain long enough to tell Jun Mu his name: Hualuo. Then he pleaded with him: could he take him along? He looked unbearably pitiful. Jun Mu's heart softened, and he took the man with him. He thought Hualuo would be a little burden, but it turned out he was incredibly useful. Especially late at night, when it was quiet and Jun Mu was about to fall asleep... Jun Mu loved curling up in Hualuo's arms, breathing in the faint fragrance on him. It made him feel as if he were back in his peach-blossom grove. Then he'd swish his fluffy fox tail against Hualuo's waist, wanting him to groom its fur. "Hualuo, hurry and pet it." Hualuo held back his ragged breathing and pinned down the restless tail. In a hoarse voice, he indulged him: "All right." - The peach trees in the mountains came into being because of Jun Mu. Of all the trees in his grove, he loved the one with the most brilliant blossoms best, never knowing that it had gained sentience because of him. Hualuo loved it when Jun Mu lay on top of him and shared all his dreams. When he learned that Jun Mu was leaving, terrified of being abandoned, he forcibly took human form just so he could stay by Jun Mu's side. In time, he got his wish and remained by Jun Mu's side. Yet he often couldn't help but pull the sleeping man, curled up in his arms, close and press a restrained kiss to his tail. Then, with longing, he would murmur over and over, "My lord..." - Theme: Everyone has the right to shape their own life
