After Using the Detective Conan Five as My Character Sheet

As a total newbie who had just gotten a little interested in tabletop role-playing and didn't know the rules at all, I was told by a friend that I could try making a character first, just for fun. I took the lazy route and used the abilities of the four undead from the 5-4=0 death formula. I even directly borrowed Matsuda's appearance for Matsuda Yuichi, and ended up stumbling into the Detective Conan cast. Oh, I think I put down that I was a police officer under occupation... Wait, why am I a Public Security officer now? What's with assigning me to a position because they're short-staffed? Why do I have to work overtime before I've even started the job?! Matsuda Yuichi lost all color in the face of the stacks of paperwork. Rei knew that an extremely capable newbie had been recommended for his team, but nobody said he looked exactly like Matsuda! And why do his abilities seem so familiar? There is a kind of yokai that longs to be human. After making a pact with a human soul, it can devour that person's soul and gain their memories and abilities, becoming completely human. In return, it will protect the people the one it devoured cared about. Rei, after receiving help time and again: It was you guys, wasn't it? Hiromitsu, Hagiwara, Matsuda, Date. Matsuda Yuichi: Where did you dig up that description of a yokai? Nice idea, but no. Pairing undecided, leaning toward Yuichi/Rei. Matsuda Yuichi had no troubled past. He's not an alternate version or the real person, just someone who transmigrated. Also known as: Next time I make a character, I'll think it through! At the very least, I won't take the lazy route with the appearance! Content warnings: No tabletop role-playing. Matsuda Yuichi will keep being called a "yokai." At first, he's a yokai that devours souls; later, he's a dead person, an alternate version of the curly-haired Matsuda, reincarnated as a yokai. P.S. I love hurt/comfort, so Matsuda Yuichi will be incredibly unlucky in some ways. He won't join the Black Organization. He's firmly on the good guys' side. Theme: Follow the law, starting with the little things.
