Back to My Political Enemy's Childhood

Couple: A scheming official in her past life, now a spoiled and arrogant young lady x a pitiful little waif in her past life, now a radiant emperor hopelessly in love with his wife

Blurb:

Lin Suiying, a notorious minister whom everyone at court wanted to see dead, is reborn in one stroke.

To her surprise, she becomes a young relative in the family of one of her political enemies from her past life, a child who had never existed before!

The enemy who should have sneered at her now hugs her affectionately,

calling her his darling little sweetheart in a voice Lin Suiying has never heard before.

What's more,

this behavior seems to be catching throughout the family!

At last, when the time comes to attend school,

Lin Suiying unsurprisingly encounters the person she once traded barbs with, who later looked at her with nothing but disgust and hatred: her friend... her greatest political enemy.

But the person she sees now is nothing like the radiant figure she will become.

Shi Si is painfully thin and wretched. Her clothes are patched and threadbare, and even passing servants berate her sharply, frightening her into cowering and trembling by the wall.

Remembering all the tricks Shi Si played on her in her past life, the scheming minister's eyes dart as a wicked plan comes to mind.

Everyone at the Imperial Academy knows

that the beloved daughter of the Censor-in-Chief and the forsaken prince living in the cold palace are closest of friends.

She gives Shi Si food and clothes and protects her at every turn. She even stands her ground against the princes and consorts enjoying the emperor's favor, refusing to give an inch...

So later,

when the one who ascends the throne and places the imperial jade seal, symbol of supreme authority, before her,

everyone somehow feels it was only natural.

But for some reason, Lin Suiying, the one receiving the jade seal, stares wide-eyed in disbelief.

She grabs the emperor by the collar and demands loudly, "What are you doing? I was seriously trying to bully and humiliate you!"

Bird-brained scheming ahead:

Preschool-level political maneuvering, make-believe court intrigue!

The characters' intelligence ceiling comes from a bird, and the villains' intelligence floor does too!

Theme: Keep striving and stay positive.
