Angelique Fanfiction: Dove’s Pupil

A fanfic based on Koei's beloved otome game, Angelique This is supposedly a certain tree's little corner of the internet, so it should be all right to post translations here, right? The original was written by an amazing author called "rei"... But later I discovered there were even more amazing authors!! Sadly, rei's website has since shut down. Anyway, it's a beautifully written, wonderfully girlish fanfic set in an imagined world. Back then, and even now, I was really into the tropes of classic knightly legends, so I worked hard on translating it. Ah... It makes me happy to recall every little detail. So here it is, posted as a tribute to the things I loved. I hope Huisha won't be disappointed in my translation... The leads are Princess Angelique and Knight Oscar (?). Mm-hmm. Sorry, but I just can't accept the translation "Oscar". People might mistake him for that glamorous French officer... sis. So please forgive me, all you grown-ups who played the game. Also, the chapter divisions follow the original.
